Richard F. Rowley, MD, Body Cross-Sectional and Musculoskeletal Imaging Specialist

Dr. Rowley is an expert in body imaging with a particular interest in musculoskeletal MRI. Rich is an Albany native, and attended college at Harvard, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He studied medicine at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, where he was elected to the National Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Rowley:

* Is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology
* Served as Chief of Medical Imaging at St. Peter's Hospital from 1997 to 2002.
* Has served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine and Chief Resident in Diagnostic Radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital

Dr Rowley completed residencies in both Internal Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was selected Chief Resident in Diagnostic Radiology during his final year.

Rich is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, the American College of Physician Executives, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. He has served as President of Primecare Physicians, an Albany-based multispecialty physician group, since 2006. Dr. Rowley and Dr. Jonathan Mishkin, another member of our practice, were elected jointly as "Physician of the Year" at St. Peter's Hospital in 2010.

He lives with his family in the village of Castleton-on-Hudson. Dr. Rowley enjoys skiing, scuba diving, and cycling in his free time.
